GÜLÜMSER KIZILSAL
Retired Midwife
Born in 1938, Gülümser Kızılsal has decided to choose a career in midwifery as many women in her family worked as midwives, and graduated from İstanbul University School of Midwifery.
In Adapazarı, İstanbul and Germany; she has worked actively in many house and hospital births.
After retiring in 1990, she has started doing work in volunteer organizations about recreating active and sustainable midwifery bodies.
